My daughter came on leaps & bounds

My daughter only attended the playgroup for 6 months and i thought that for a 3yr old she was as bright as a button when she started the group knowing shapes, colours, counting, drawing, speach, recognising letters, however during the six months her language skills grew fantastically, she learned to colour in the lines, she socialised and played with other children which she didn't do at home - also learning to share along the way. but most of all the playgroup prepared my daughter for when she started fulltime nursery/school.
she also developed a relationship with her keyworker - it was someone my daughter talked about all the time, someone she looked up to.
