National segments from ITV is taking more & more air time for what is supposedly local news.

Tonights episode explains people of colour have less chance of finding rental accommodation than white people.

Diversity issues are very popular, but, by no means exclusive national news items to take the air time on this program, but, to reiterate, its not local people being interviewed & therefore should be kept in the national news which follows immediately afterwards.

I am interested to know the reason ! Is it a cost saving exercise to ‘pad’ the program out ? I think so..
